applications for music hubs scheme

Are you active in talent development in pop, hip hop or dance? Then the scheme for music hubs might be something for you. This subsidy is for regional networks that support music makers. Please note: The information on the webpage is currently available in Dutch only.
The first awards of the development grant for composers (Dutch: Ontwikkelbeurs muziekauteur) have been announced. Thirty-three composers were awarded a grant in the first application round of 2025.

21 June was the Day of the Composer. At the final concert in Museum Speelklok in Utrecht, Trevor Grahl was awarded the Matthijs Vermeulenprijs for his poignant composition Śpiewnik. It is a piece that blends together personal and cultural memories.
Festival Wonderfeel and networking trips to Festival d’Avignon and Festival Santarcangelo

How do you concretely achieve international exchange? Festivals offer an excellent opportunity to meet performing art professionals from inside and outside the country. That’s why we organised the following activities in the past month: a visitors’ programme at music festival Wonderfeel and two networking trips, to Festival d’Avignon (France) and Festival Santarcangelo (Italy).
Starting at the end of July, we will gradually implement our updated house style. You will first notice the changes on our website and social media channels. These are modest adjustments that we will roll out step by step in all our communications over the coming period.
